Moments.Elusive.Eternal.We ache for moments that have gone, or maybe for the future. And, as artists, sometimes we ache to stop time and capture the moments we are in. For me, it takes intention to breathe in, and be in the minute I am in. The ages my kids are now. The memories of my grandparents or my man, juxtaposed with where I am now. The season of life or actual season of year. The grass, or bare trees, or waves and wind. Sometimes, that is acknowledging the sadness of now. Many times, it is taking in a hundred small joys. At this moment, it is the paint on my baby’s face, who is really no longer a baby.
